This is the perfect job for a college player/student wanting to make good money for the summer in a fun environment. The “go-getter” can really make something of this job. This very active Country Club for tennis and golf is in suburb 45 minutes west of New York City. The Assistant Pro that is likeable and energetic will receive a tremendous response from the membership.
Responsibilities include private and group lessons, clinics, playing in round robins, helping with Kids Camp, and assisting in administering tennis events. Housing and/or salary for right candidate. Compensation including private and group lesson rates based on experience. Pro will start with substantial number of weekly clinic and jr. program hrs. and build from there. 4.5 playing level and above is preferred. 4.0 playing ability is minimun for candidate with other excellent traits. This is also an excellent job for the career pro that wants to learn all aspects of directing a successful club racquets program.
Certification preferred but not required as long as one is working toward; Assistant Pro will receive training. Dates are flexible, but bulk of summer work is June through August. Some work is also available April and May, and then again in September and October/November. Please send resume.
