Tennis Professional for Health & Tennis club in Northern Westchester, New York with 3 indoor har-tru courts & 2 bubbled. This is a spring/summer position only for April-September (start & end date negotiable).
The position can be as a Head Pro or Assistant Head Pro, depending on applicants experience & qualifications. Applicant should be experienced & comfortable with coaching adults. Qualifications include a love of tennis, a passion for teaching, excellent interpersonal & verbal communications on & off court as well as the ability and desire to sell tennis. Professional certification is required.
Responsibilities will include teaching private lessons & clinics to adults & juniors; USTA team coaching; stringing (at per racquet rate) & assisting with court maintenance. Position could be part time, depending on demand for lessons. Compensation will be based on an hourly rate for lessons.
