Head Tennis Professional
Tennis Management Company in Birmingham, MI is looking for a full-time Head Tennis Professional. Includes salary, commission, IRA matching, health plan and more.

Position Overview:
We are a racquet sports management company that oversees several premiere clubs in the Birmingham/Bloomfield Hills area. There is currently a full time Head Professional position available. This position is upwardly mobile and has the potential to become a Director position in the near future. Candidate must be USPTA certified, team-oriented, with a keen sense of quality & customer service and must be able to make a professional connection with our tennis and paddle tennis clients. Highly motivated and driven candidate must be proficient in working with all phases of tennis operations including 10 & under tennis, cardio tennis, ladies team practices, and special events. This position will consist of winters working at our indoor commercial club along with country club platform tennis and summers at one of our high-end country clubs during the outdoor season. Candidates with platform tennis experience a plus, must be willing to learn and teach paddle tennis if you have no prior experience. All candidates must have a 4.5 rating or above. Professional should be competent with Microsoft office programs including Publisher, Excel, Word and Outlook or similar. Knowledge of clay court maintenance a plus. This position will report directly to the Directors of Tennis at both the country club and commercial club. Ability to play and teach tennis requiring standing, running, directional movements, swinging of racquet and holding of multiple tennis balls for at least 8 hours straight per day.

Physical Requirements: Bend, stoop, crouch, climb, stand, sit and turn/pivot; lift/lower, push, pull and carry up to 40 lbs; perform office tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, typing, and/or word processing, filing, calculating and use of telephone; see, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions.

Compensation includes salary, lesson commission, Simple IRA matching, health plan, and continuing educational opportunities. Clothing, cell phone and dental allowances as well. Candidate must be eligible to work in the US.
