Tennis Program Associate
University in West Lafayette, IN is looking for a full-time Tennis Program Associate.

Position Overview:
Market and administer new programs for adults, youth, and University students. Identify current program needs for members and non-members of the tennis center. Research new sources of revenue through events and leagues. Learn and assist with tournament operations, events hospitality, coordinate membership activities and all aspects of membership operations.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Proficient and skilled in the use of Facebook/Twitter for business purposes.
• Ability to reach student population, members and guests utilizing many forms of Social Media.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to build rapport with members and maintain memberships.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adhere to University, Big Ten Conference, and NCAA policies, procedures, rules, and ‎regulations.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 – 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 80 lbs. occasionally.
• A valid US or Canadian driver’s license.

USPTA (US Professional Tennis Association) or PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) Certified.
• Proficiency in TDM (Tournament Data Manager) preferred.
• Previous experience working at a tennis facility or directly related work experience.
• Playing experience at the collegiate level.

Additional Information:
• This position is for 1 year with the option for annual renewal for 2 additional years.
• University will not sponsor employment authorization for this position.
• A background check will be required for employment in this position.
FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible For Overtime)
• Retirement Eligibility: Defined Contribution Waiting Period.
