Tennis Co-Director
University in Newberg, Oregon is looking for a Tennis Co-Director.

Position Overview:
Assume responsibility of managing the multi-use (tennis) facility and developing, marketing and running community tennis classes (individual and group), tennis tournaments and oversight of court rental. Responsible for running the tennis auxiliary at an annual profit for the benefit of the University and Athletic department. Adheres to rules and regulations governing University, Northwest Conference and the NCAA. Performs all duties in full support of the University’s mission.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Develop individual and group tennis classes, tennis tournaments, hitting groups and tennis camps to be offered and marketed to the community. | 70%
• Oversight of tennis court rental to both the University community and the external community. | 10%
• Marketing and promotion of the facility, classes, tournament and tennis camps to the community. | 5%
• Routine maintenance of the facility including, but not limited to, sweeping and cleaning of the tennis surface, routine net maintenance, trash removal and cleanup. | 5%
• Act as building monitor of the multi-use facility, submitting all maintenance request to plant services and developing a capital maintenance plan to be submitted to the Director of Athletics. | 2%
• Responsible for accounting records and to accurately and timely report revenue from tennis classes, tournaments, camps and court rentals and related expenses. | 5%
• Hire and supervise student’s workers that assist in all tennis auxiliary daily operations. | 2%
• Perform other duties assigned by the Athletic Director or Associate Athletic Director. | 1%

Associate Responsibilities:
• Articulate the mission of the University athletic program in ways that align with the “Be Known” vision of the University.
• Model a highly relational Christian witness to the students and employees of the University.
• Communicate effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students and the public, in a spirits of teamwork, respect and customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5-9 years of experience required.
USPTA certified instructor.
• An evangelical Christian commitment and lifestyle consistent with the institution’s goals, including signed agreement with University Statement of Faith and Community Lifestyle Statement and being in living agreement with the same.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing, including on telephone, and to understand and follow instructions.
• Part Time, Monday-Friday 2:00pm 6:00pm.
