Country Club in Rumford, Rhode Island is looking for a Summer Assistant Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
Private Country Club in Rumford, Rhode Island is looking for a Summer Assistant Teaching Pro which has the potential to be a full time year round position as well. Facilities include grass, clay, and indoor courts.

The Assistant Tennis Pro at will have the following responsibilities:
Teach private and semi-private lessons to all ages and ability levels.
Assist in running all junior summer camps and lead camps days if needed.
Assist with adult and junior classes as needed.
Maintain a highly professional attitude and appearance.
Interact regularly with members and promote the racquets program at the club both internally and externally.
Assist with all maintenance duties of the tennis program including but not limited to maintaining the clay courts, cleaning the indoor courts and building, keeping the tennis office neat and clean, and the general upkeep of the areas around tennis.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience and 4.5 NTRP playing level. Certifications are highly valued as well in PTR or USPTA but not required.
Additional experience in pickleball, squash, or platform tennis is a bonus but not required.

This position is available as a seasonal position in the summer running from the first week in June to the final week in August. It has the potential to be a full time year round position.

Compensation includes an hourly salary, and commission on lessons, camps, and clinics as well as a year end bonus. 40 hours of on court time per week guaranteed during the summer months.
