Tennis Professional
Club in Atlanta, Georgia is looking for a full-time Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
This is an entry level position. Club is seeking a full-time Staff Tennis Professional to add to its team. This is a great opportunity to build a solid foundation for a career as a Tennis Professional. The Staff Professional is a multi-faceted role including but not limited to group lessons, private lessons, pro shop, court maintenance, office administration, events, racquet stringing and merchandise sales.

Club has eleven tennis courts, 7 clay, and 4 hard. The Tennis Staff consists of six coaches and twelve total team members. The tennis team has been recognized in recent years by USTA Georgia as Member Organization of the Year and Tennis Director of the Year. The Tennis Center also just had its highest revenue and court utilization year in its history.

The ideal candidate displays himself or herself with graciousness and integrity. Strong playing skills are a must for our applicants. Effective communication and organization are needed. Applicants need to be certified or begin the certification pathway within the first six months of employment.

Weekend and evening hours are required. Some holidays may be required. Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the club. All employees are required to fully comply with Clubs rules and regulations. This position requires continuous standing, walking, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, and squatting, occasional sitting, and exposure to extremes in outside temperatures.

This is a full-time position. Compensation will include a base pay rate and lesson commission rate. Benefits package for full-time employees includes access to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, and 401K. Club covers association dues and education allowance as budgeted.
