Assistant Tennis Professional
Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado is looking for an Assistant Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
The Tennis Supervisor is responsible for all tennis operations to include the bag room, locker room, tennis facilities, and shop. The upkeep and supervision of staff is required.

Education & Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required.
• College course work in related field helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Extensive tennis experience required.

Physical Requirements:
• Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand and/or walk during entire shift.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

General Requirements:
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
• Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Resorts Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
• Comply with Resorts Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
• Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
• Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
• Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Fundamental Requirements:
• Oversee daily operations for tennis associates and facilities.
• Responsible for weekly schedules of tennis operations.
• Ensures that all local tournaments, member tournaments and hotel groups are managed appropriately.
• Knows all aspects of all positions within the department.
• Does weekly walkthroughs with the team to ensure asset management compliance and reports all repairs to engineering.
• Maintains an organized office and management structure.
• Follows all Count on me service standards and holds associates accountable for delivering service.
• Comply at all times with standard and regulations to encourage safe and efficient tennis operation.
• Responsible for financial accountability of his areas.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Attend all hotel and golf meetings and pre-con meetings.

Wage Rate: $12.32 + Commission
