Assistant Director of Tennis and Pickleball
Tennis Center in Denver, Colorado is looking for full-time Assistant Directors of Tennis and Pickleball.

Position Overview:
We are hiring 2 Assistant Directors for the 2022 season to be a part of a 5-person management team. One position starts February 15th and the other starts April 15th.

This position has potential for growth as the management company owns and operates multiple facilities and has had success placing Assistant Directors into Director roles. If you’re looking for a career in tennis with a company large enough for growth, but with a fun, small, company atmosphere, this position might be perfect for you.

The Assistant Director position is a full-time employee reporting to the Director of Tennis/Pickleball. His or her primary responsibilities will be a combination of on and off court including: private and group lessons, as well as organization and management of club programs. The Assistant Director must have a dynamic personality, be flexible, and have great communication skills. She or he must understand and execute Club branded programs that include USTA progressive red, orange, green, and yellow ball instruction, pickleball instruction, adult instruction and be responsible for customer satisfaction through implementation of student-centered teaching. The position will require evening and weekend availability.

Compensation guaranteed at $65,000 – 80,000 per year, plus opportunity for growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Teaches tennis/pickleball private lessons and group classes – monitors, demonstrates, and instructs students on proper technique, tactics, and strategies to improve their overall tennis game.
• Pickleball experience is a plus, but not required.
• Works with the Director of Tennis an Pickleball along with the management team on developing strategies to improve the quality of the club’s junior programs.
• Organizes and promotes club events, tournaments, camps, and programs.
• Coordinates with desk staff when necessary to ensure players participating in programs at the club are charged accurately and in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 3+ years of experience instructing tennis and/or 3+ years of experience instructing pickleball preferred but not required.
• 4.0+ USPTA rating or 8+ UTR.
• Strong leadership and enthusiasm for the game of tennis/pickleball.
• Capacity to teach players of all ages and ability.
• Experience in organizing tournaments, team and league play, clinics, camps and special programs for members of all ages and ability.
• Strong marketing and organizational skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills; friendly, outgoing and positive attitude.
