Tennis Program and Facility Manager
Tennis Facility in New York City is looking for a Tennis Program and Facility Manager.

Position Overview:
General Manager for a new, well-funded tennis facility and program in NYC reporting to the Owners of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with the Tennis Professional staff, along with the Head Professional, who offer tennis programs and lessons for juniors and adults.
• Promoting the programs including sales and interface with juniors, parents and adult players.
• Overseeing Pro Shop, Snack Bar and Gym operations, including purchasing, inventory management, sales, customer relations and managing dedicated staff.
• Handling building maintenance, including facility checklists and scheduling needed repairs.
• Managing administrative functions including interface with accounting, compliance with operating procedures, etc.
• Promoting a positive and productive work environment that supports loyalty among staff and reflects on a favorable experience for all who participate in and administer the tennis programs.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager of a tennis facility or program.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain constructive relationships with staff, peers and managers.
• Retail experience and ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints of all kinds.
• Strength in general office procedures and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Interest in the sport of tennis and promoting and growing the game within the community.
• Ability to partner with Owners of the facility to achieve financial and community-based objectives.
