Head Tennis Professional
Country Club in La Quinta, California is looking for a full-time Head Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
Country Club is looking for a seasonal experienced and certified Teaching Pro responsible for planning and implementing instructional program including lessons, clinics, camps and league team work outs.

Head Pro will assist Director with managing all Club events which include but not limited to tournaments, socials, round-robins and holiday play.

Head Pro will assist in all assigned programs to foster a healthy environment for players of all levels and provide leadership and energy to make the club operations successful.

Head Pro will report directly to Director of Racquet Sports and attend all required meetings. string racquets and assist in shop as needed.

Skills, Qualities and Experience:
USPTA certified professional or PTR equivalent.
Current Head Pro (or Assistant Pro may be considered).
Five years teaching experience.
Professional, punctual, positive, strong work ethic.
Clear communicator with membership and staff.
Team player with great motivational skills.
Experienced racquet stringing and minor repairs.

Responsibilities:
Implement all on court teaching programs including lessons, clinics, camps and league team workouts.
Racquet stringing.
Assist in tennis shop when available/as needed.
Assist Director as needed with calendar of events.
Ensure company safety protocols.

Bereavement: 3 days paid the employee to attend to death of spouse, child, parent, grandchild, grandparent, sibling, registered domestic partner, step relations in the same categories, and in-laws in the same categories.

Health Insurance: company pays 100% HMO Value Plan for Medical, Dental, Chiro, Vision, with 25,000 Life Insurance/25,000 Accidental Death for each employee. Employees may upgrade to the next level of HMO Premier and pay the difference.

Hourly EE’s may add family members at the following rates:
HMO Value Plan: EE+Spouse – 100/mo EE+Children – 100/mo EE+Family – 200/mo
Health Insurance/Department Managers: receive HMO Premier-same rates as above. PPO offered to key employees only.

401 (k): Employer Match: Employees actively participating in the Plan who have 1 years of service and completion of 1,000 hours worked in the 12-month period are eligible for the employer match. The employer match is a discretionary match and will be determined at the end of each plan year. Company match up to 10%
• Eligibility Requirements: All regular full-time and part-time employees age 21+ are eligible to participate in the Associa 401(k) plan on the first of the month following one month of employment. An enrollment package and PIN number will be sent to your home address from MassMutual close to your effective date. Enrollment can be processed any time after your initial effective date by contacting MassMutual directly.
• Contributions: Employees can defer up to 90% of their 401k eligible salary into the plan each pay period. Deferrals can be changed or cancelled at any time during the year. Participants will need to make their deferral change requests directly to MassMutual either online or by phone.
• Fund Options: The Associa 401(k) Plan provides employees with the opportunity to establish a valuable source of future retirement income and is overseen by a committee of Associa employees and our independent investment consultants. The committee has established procedures for initial and ongoing monitoring of investment options and criteria that will be used for evaluating the Plan funds. Plan participants will receive notice when a fund change is made.
• Employer Match: Employees actively participating in the Plan who have 1+ years of service and completion of 1,000 hours worked in a 12-month period are eligible for the employer match. The employer match is a discretionary match and will be determined at the end of each plan year. The employer match monies will be distributed in one lump sum once per year.
• There is a 4-year vesting (ownership) schedule for the company matching contributions.
1 year of service:
25% vested in company match
2 years of service:
50% vested in company match
3 years of service:
75% vested in company match
4+ years of service
100% vested company match
