Tennis Professional
Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is looking for a full-time Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
This is a great job position to increase one’s knowledge of the tennis club industry and have an opportunity to work alongside of some of the best Head Tennis Professionals in the nation. The tennis staff professional will be required to work 24 hours of pro shop and court maintenance hours, 7-10 hours of junior clinics and adult beginner clinics. Based on experience, will be given the opportunity to teach private lessons.

This successful candidate must have a positive attitude, hard work ethic, motivated, have excellent attention to detail, dependable, work well with others, fun, energetic, and provide excellent customer service. The candidate will be required to get USPTA certified within a year, if not already done so. Pro shop duties include court reservations, merchandise sales and inventory, keeping pro shop clean, and being knowledgeable of all tennis programs, leagues, tournaments, and events. Maintenance duties include, but not limited to, grooming, and lining soft composition courts, blowing hard courts and sidewalks, and empty trash cans. Teaching responsibilities will include teaching and promoting our 10 junior developmental program, which we start as early as 3 years old in our mommy and me clinic, teaching beginner to intermediate school tennis juniors, and advanced junior tournament players, as well as helping with adult beginner clinics. This candidate will have the opportunity to teach private lessons and string racquets based on experience and training.

Compensation Package: $15 hourly rate for shop/maintenance, $20 hourly rate for clinics, and % of private lessons. The Compensation package includes health care benefits after 90 days and company matching 401k retirement package.
