Tennis Professional
Tennis Club in Columbus, Ohio is looking for a full-time Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Club Manager, the full-time Teaching Professional is responsible for promoting a positive image of the Company. School team coaches not eligible due to conflict of hours needed for the position.

Teaching Responsibilities (Minimum 32 hours/week)
● Plan, teach, and take attendance for Club Programs of all ages and skill levels.
● Plan and teach private lessons.
● Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Experience and Skills
● Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
● Minimum 2 years of teaching and/or coaching experience.
● Understand the importance of customer service and demonstrate great customer service skills.
● Strong teaching skills and organizational skills.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Love interacting with and getting to know people.
● Enjoy working with a team of instructors, sometimes being the lead Pro and sometimes working under a lead Pro.
● USPTA or PTR certifications or working toward them a bonus but not required.
● Safe Play certification mandatory.
● Cannot teach outside of Indoor Tennis during peak season without permission of management. Will coordinate summer schedule with Club Manager with regard to OIT hours and teaching location during Non-Peak season
● Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and criminal background check.
