Director of Pickleball
Pickleball Facility in George Town, Cayman Islands is looking for a Director of Pickleball.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Pickleball to lead our pickleball program. The Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pickleball program, including scheduling, programming, player development, and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for pickleball and a strong track record of success in coaching and program management. Working within the framework of Pickleball Cayman, the Director of Pickleball will maintain operations in alignment with the interests of the various stakeholders from resident members, visiting members, other employees, and management. This includes the maintenance and improvement of the facility’s services and the security and protection of the facility’s assets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive pickleball program that caters to players of all levels and ages.
• Schedule and coordinate various pickleball activities, including clinics, leagues, tournaments, and social events.
• As needed, recruit, train, and manage a team of coaches and staff to deliver high-quality instruction and programming.
• Provide individual and group coaching to players of all levels, from beginners to advanced players.
• Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere at the facility, including promoting sportsmanship and safety.
• Manage and maintain the equipment and facilities to ensure the highest quality playing experience.
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract new players and grow the program.

Qualifications:
• 5.0+ rating in pickleball, with a strong understanding of the sport and its rules.
• Certified coach with demonstrated success in player development.
• 5+ years of experience in program creation and management, preferably in a sports or recreation setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Passion for the sport of pickleball and a desire to share it with others.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Bachelor’s degree in sports management, recreation, or a related field preferred.
