Tennis Program Manager, Partner
Tennis Facility in New York City is looking for a Tennis Program Manager, Partner.

Position Overview:
Responsibilities:

• Recruiting, managing and retaining the Tennis Professional staff who offer tennis programs and lessons for Juniors and Adults.
• Promoting the programs including sales and interface with Juniors, Parents and Adult players.
• Promoting a positive and productive work environment that supports loyalty among staff and reflects on a favorable experience for all who participate in and administer the tennis programs.
• The Program Manager’s on-court responsibilities will depend on the qualifications and situation of the individual. We are open to a Full-Time manager role that could include management responsibilities along with meaningful on-court responsibilities. We are similarly open to a Part-Time manager who serves concurrently in a comparable, senior-level role at another facility and has the flexibility to serve effectively in both locations.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager of a tennis program.
• Understanding of the needs to manage a recreational tennis program with a strong focus on kids aged 4-14.
• Positive style, fun and welcoming attitude. Must enjoy working with kids and parents.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain constructive relationships with staff, peers and managers.
• Retail experience and ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints of all kinds.
• Strength in general office procedures and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Interest in the sport of tennis and promoting and growing the game within the community.
• Ability to partner with Owners of the facility to achieve financial and community-based objectives.
