Director of Junior Program/Tennis Professional
Tennis Club in Deer Park, New York is looking for a Director of Junior Program/Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Run junior development program (Making sure that players are grouped appropriately based on level and age).
Previous experience/ability to work with young children, teens, young adults, parents and staff.
Working on kids schedule with Club’s Manager.
Experience in and enjoys working with children.
Teach tennis skills through effectively planned classes and practices at a level appropriate to age and ability.
Make sure instruction and games are safe, well organized and fun for children.
Provide proper warm-ups before activities and adequate conditioning for physical fitness.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Running of Adult Programs.
Knowledge of current Tennis developments.
Abilities to teach tennis on the court for clinics, drills and private lessons.
Previous experience as Tennis Pro preferred.
Teaching experience of section junior ranked players is a plus.
Player experience as a junior, college or adult.

Qualifications:
Must be available to work weekday evenings and weekends as appropriate.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
A positive, enthusiastic, and creative approach to problem-solving.
