Tennis Professional and Tournament Director
Athletic Club in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts is looking for a Tennis Professional and Tournament Director.

Position Overview:
As a member of the Athletic Club Tennis Staff, our staff pros play an integral role in the overall success of our clubs and company. Reporting to the Junior Tennis Director, Adult Program Coordinator, and/or Learn To Play Coordinator, our tennis professionals further ensure that the departments budgetary responsibilities are always surpassed, and personally accepts responsibility for their contribution to the team surpassing these goals every month. As the Tournament Director, he or she will be responsible for organizing and facilitating USTA and UTR tennis tournaments held at the Athletic Club. They will secure courts, be “first contact” with inquires, develop all tournament draws, staff each tournament and effectively communicate with club personnel any logistic challenges that may affect member experiences.

As a member of the Athletic Club Tennis Staff, our Tournament Director plays an integral role in the overall success of our clubs and company. Reporting to the Executive Director, Our Tournament Director further ensures that the departments’ budgetary responsibilities are always surpassed, and personally accepts responsibility for their contribution to the team surpassing these goals every month. It is required that our Tournament Director must be culturally aligned with The Athletic Club teamwork environment, that he/she understands their job responsibilities extend beyond tennis, and that all employees work to continually improve that cultural team environment.
