Head Women’s Tennis Coach
College in Lincroft, New Jersey is looking for a Head Women’s Tennis Coach.

Position Overview:
Provide leadership and coaching expertise to prepare the team to represent the College in a positive manner at all practice sessions and scheduled athletic contests. Cultivate an environment for the team that promotes success in and out of the classroom, good sportsmanship, open communications, team discipline, and respect for all. Serve as a positive role model for student athletes and assistant coaches.

Description of Duties:
• Recruit.
• Plan practice activities.
• Instruct and coach student athletes in fundamental and advanced skills.
• Supervise student-athletes and coaching staff during competitive events.
• Motivate student-athletes toward athletic and academic success. Implement departmental academic enhancement initiatives.
• Manage the appropriate equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate team fundraising activities as assigned.
• Participate in awards, recognition or other related team events.
• Comply with NJCAA, Region XIX & GSAC rules and regulations, and the NJCAA Coaching Ethics Code.
• Maintain appropriate records – submission of monthly time reports.
• Complete mandatory paperwork for all meal monies following department and college policy.
• Complete yearly HR compliance training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Driving of a school-issued van during away trips in close proximity to the college (typically nothing over 1 hour unless extenuating circumstances).

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
• Associate degree required or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.

Experience:
• A minimum of two years of related coaching experience necessary, college level coaching experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills necessary.
• Driver License required.

Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations:
Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities.
Must work flexible hours, local and overnight travel required.
