Head Tennis Coach
University in Marshall, Minnesota is looking for a Head Tennis Coach.

Position Overview:
The Head Coach will be responsible for the administration of all phases of an NCAA Division II women’s tennis program. Responsibilities include recruiting quality student athletes, organizing and training student athletes for successful competition and monitoring and supporting the academic success of the student athletes. Other head coaching duties include planning and conducting pre and post season workouts, preparing and managing budgets, fundraising activities and records, scheduling, and developing and maintaining alumni relations. Potential other athletic administrative responsibilities to be assigned may include game management, special events, and/or teaching responsibilities based on the candidate’s degree, prior teaching experience and area of expertise.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Three years of high school, collegiate and/or professional tennis coaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree
• Successful collegiate recruiting record.
• Experience with and knowledge of NCAA compliance policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with student-athletes.
• Fundraising, special event facilitation, and game management experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.
• Demonstrated commitment or proven strategies for fostering a diverse and inclusive environment and demonstrated ability or proven strategies to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds.
