Senior High Performance Coach
Club in Woodinville, Washington is looking for a Senior High Performance Coach.

Position Overview:
Tier 1 Performance PNW, located in the picturesque Woodinville wine country in the heart of the Pacific Northwest (PNW), is shaping the future of Junior Tennis. We are rapidly evolving into the go-to hub for Junior Tennis development in the PNW, and we are on the lookout for a dynamic Senior High Performance Coach to spearhead this exciting journey.

In your role as the Senior High Performance Coach, you will have a dual mandate. You will be directly responsible for building and maintaining our developmental program that feeds into the Tier 1 Performance program. Simultaneously, you will also work closely with the High Performance group on a daily basis, providing coaching and guidance as needed.

Tier 1 Performance is renowned for its excellence, producing multiple gold balls and grand slam champions. We house the region’s only full-time program, currently training 12 dedicated players. The Woodinville Sports Club facility, set within 50 acres of beautiful land and a mere 15-mile drive from Seattle, includes eight indoor courts, one outdoor clay court, a large workout facility, and a golf driving range.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Build and oversee a comprehensive junior tennis developmental program that successfully feeds into Tier 1 Performance. – Work closely with the High Performance group, providing day-to-day coaching and support. – Assess and monitor the skill development of each student-athlete, coordinating with other coaches and staff for their comprehensive development. – Assist with the psychological preparation of student-athletes for both training and matches. – Foster a motivational and competitive environment for practice and matches. – Act as a mentor and educator of the sport to the student-athletes. – Partner with student-athlete’s parents/guardians regarding their overall development. – Ensure safety guidelines are always adhered to. – Assist in the college placement of student-athletes. – Travel to tournaments and other events as needed. – Participate in recruiting prospective student-athletes. – Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethic codes.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in coaching &/or playing tennis at the professional &/or collegiate level. – USPTA or PTR teaching certification preferred. – Experience working with higher-level juniors and building a player from beginner to advanced levels. – Experience with 10 & under junior tennis and adult groups. – Excellent oral and written communication skills – Strong team player with the ability to collaborate in a team environment – Ability to engage with people of all ages and levels – Bilingual, CPR Certification, and a valid driver’s license are preferred

Compensation

The total compensation for this position will be around $105,000, potentially higher dependent on your experience.
