Head Tennis Coach
University in Savannah, Georgia is looking for a full-time Head Tennis Coach.

Position Overview:
As the head coach of tennis, you will communicate with students, parents, and physicians to determine student-athlete eligibility, establish procedures for injuries/emergencies, handle travel arrangements, and complete necessary paperwork. In this position you will create and implement methods to learn the potential of student-athletes and will encourage students to graduate in four years and to pursue a rewarding career. The head coach schedules competitions and well-organized practices and must maintain office hours for student-athletes to discuss any concerns. You will be responsible for recruitment as well.

Minimum Qualifications:  
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college
• Previous collegiate coaching and recruiting experience
• Strong interpersonal, motivational, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:  • Budget management Certificates, licenses, and registrations: • CPR and first aid

Travel Required: 20 to 40%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
