Assistant Tennis Professional
Club in Portland, Oregon is looking for a Assistant Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Head Tennis Professional, the Part-Time Assistant Tennis Professional provides instructional aspects for all functions related to our tennis department programs. They work to ensure efficiency in all programs, clinics, and special events that are hosted by Glendoveer Tennis Center and affiliates.

Major Job Responsibilities:
· Teaching up wards of 20+ hours per week through group tennis programs as needed. More hours through group and private lessons which could lead to full time hours.
· Collaborate with the Head Tennis Professional to craft a winning strategy balancing lesson programs for new and existing adult and youth tennis programs.
· Administer on court check-in and class size management for tennis programs.
· Be engaged and willing to be staffed for any and all programs.
· Promote club events through verbal discussions, emails, and social media platforms, fostering a sense of community excitement.
· Consistently demonstrates leadership behaviors and values aligned with Glendoveer Tennis and affiliates.

Qualifications:
· Minimum 1 year of experience required in the tennis club industry.
· Experience with large and small group lessons.
· Ability to teach all ages and skill levels.
· Outstanding organizational and administrative skills.
· A passionate team member with at least 4.5 NTRP rating certified by USPTA and/or PTR.

Physical Requirements:
Office is located at Glendoveer Golf & Tennis. Regular communications and contact with tennis professionals and members. Repetitive keyboard activity and sitting at computer, standing and moving around the facility for extended periods of time.
