Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach
University in Stanford, California is looking for an Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach.

Position Overview:
Assist the Head Coach of the Women’s Tennis program of a Division I athletics program. Responsibilities include assisting with administration of recruiting, training, practice, fundraising, budget management, and team travel. This is a one-year fixed term position.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
• Help plan and organize team training and practice sessions.
• Organizing and ordering equipment and clothing.
• Organize, book and travel to individual tournaments
• Assist with recruiting student-athletes to compete at Stanford. Follow NCAA guidelines and University standards and policies in coordinating recruiting efforts.
• Understand and apply NCAA regulations to all aspects of program. Must pass exam on an annual basis on NCAA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A minimum of three years of coaching experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Previous Division I level competition is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with student-athletes, peers and the general public.
• Computer literacy with common office applications such as Word and Excel required.
• Ability to understand and comply with all rules and regulations of Stanford University, ACC Conference and NCAA.
• Ability to work compatibly and cooperatively with a variety of staff and personnel in the Department of Athletics, the University and the community.
