Head Tennis Professional
Club in Richmond, Virginia is looking for a Head Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
The Head Tennis Professional will be responsible for all areas of the adult tennis program. The Head Tennis Professional will be responsible for all adult tennis programming, including but not limited to clinics and private lessons, USTA leagues, internal leagues and tournament/social play. In addition to these responsibilities, the head tennis professional will also assist in coaching the junior development program at the club.

The ideal candidate will enjoy the following:

-Teaching Tennis to adults and juniors of all skill levels
-Coordinating an active adult Tennis social community including adult USTA leagues and Suburban Tennis
-Working closely with the Director of Tennis to lead the overall Tennis program

Requirements:

-Ability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
-Willingness to work additional hours based on the needs of the program
-Must have genuine interest in working with and interacting with children and adults of all skill levels
-Prior experience instructing tennis lessons required
-USPTA or PTA Certifications preferred

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s degree preferred

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

-Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, stretch, climb and move for duration of shift
-Must be able to fully participate in all tennis activities (programs and/or lessons)
-Must be able to work in warm and humid outdoor conditions
