Club in New York, New York is looking for a Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
The Tennis Professional’s primary responsibility is to teach all levels. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to teach and demonstrate technique to both beginning and advanced level tennis players of all ages. Must have an engaging personality and enjoy interacting with kids as well with adults. A positive and team focused attitude is essential. Previous coaching experience is required

• A passion for the game of tennis and helping others
• Positive coaching style and a fun and welcoming attitude that kids and adults respond to
• The ability to lead and communicate effectively to groups of children and adults
• Solid playing ability
• Fast paced and accurate ball feeding skills
• The ability to work with a wide variety of skill levels
• Patience when dealing with students that are new to the sport
• A good understanding of classic and modern tennis fundamentals
• A wide range of games and drills to get students moving and having fun
• A strong work-ethic that includes being punctual and professional at all times
• Must be flexible with schedule and must be available to work on weekends
