Summer Tennis Professional
Club in Bay Head, New Jersey is looking for a Summer Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging tennis lesson plans for various skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.

Organize and conduct group and private lessons, clinics, and tournaments.

Assess players’ skills and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.

Create a fun and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and fosters a love for the game.

Communicate effectively with players and their families regarding program details, schedules, and player progress.

Maintain the tennis courts and equipment, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all participants.

Collaborate with club staff in planning and executing special tennis events and activities.

Certifications and Experience

Proven experience as a tennis coach or instructor, preferably in a summer camp or club environment.

Strong understanding of tennis techniques, strategies, and game rules.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire players of all ages.

Certification from a recognized tennis association (e.g., USPTA, PTR) is preferred but not required.

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Working Conditions

The position is seasonal, with flexible hours based on program schedules.

Work primarily outdoors, subject to weather conditions.
