Assistant Tennis Professional
Club in Truckee, California is looking for an Assistant Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
The Club in Truckee, CA, is seeking a passionate and dynamic Assistant Tennis Professional to join our team for the summer season. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong tennis background to share their love of the sport while working in a beautiful, vibrant mountain environment. As an Assistant Tennis Professional, you will be part of a fun and energetic team helping to create an engaging and professional tennis experience for players of all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the instruction of junior and adult tennis clinics, camps, and social events.

Lead and coordinate tennis drills, lessons, and activities for players of varying skill levels.

Help facilitate and support tennis social events, round robins, and tournaments.

Provide on-court support during clinics and private lessons.

Offer personalized feedback and coaching to players during group and individual sessions.

Assist with the general upkeep of the tennis facilities and equipment.

Support the club’s overall mission of promoting tennis and providing a high-quality experience for all guests.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school and/or college-level playing experience in tennis.

Prior tennis coaching experience preferred, but not required.

USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association) certification preferred, but not required.

Experience with pickleball is a plus, including playing and teaching.

Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Ability to work well in a team environment and interact with diverse groups of people.
