Position Overview:
The Vintage Club is seeking an experienced and professional Head Pickleball Professional to join our team for the upcoming season. In keeping with our desire to offer “best-in-class” services and programming, the ideal candidate will already be a Pickleball Head Professional at another club, with a proven track record of managing and developing successful Pickleball programming. This role will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing top-tier Pickleball events, clinics, choose-ups, and social events while catering to all skill levels and fostering a vibrant Pickleball community.
This seasonal role, running from October through April, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of Pickleball within the Club while ensuring a premier experience for our members.

Focus on providing tailored experiences for all skill levels, including implementing segmentation of Choose-Ups according to player ability.
• Expand Choose-Ups & Leagues: Evaluate and improve our four weekly Choose-Ups by segmenting players according to ability. Consider creating intra-club and inter-club leagues based on player ratings to better accommodate our growing and increasingly skilled membership. This initiative will address the needs of both new and advanced players who currently may be opting for alternative or off-campus play.
• Lead Clinics and Private Lessons: Provide high-quality, individualized coaching for both group and private lessons, ensuring that players of all levels—from beginners to advanced—receive expert instruction to enhance their skills and performance.
• Player Development: Assess the skill levels of members and provide personalized coaching, focusing on skill improvement, player progression, and maintaining an inclusive environment that encourages participation across all levels of play.
• Host Pro Pickleball Exhibitions: In addition to regular programming, plan and organize professional Pickleball exhibitions (2-3 per season), bringing in top-tier players for demonstrations and matches that excite and engage our membership.
• Member Engagement: Foster positive relationships with club members, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. Proactively engage with members to meet their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Collaborate with the Tennis and Pickleball Director: Work closely with the director to align programming with the club’s goals, contribute to seasonal planning, and ensure all Pickleball activities support the broader vision of the club.
• Assist with Marketing: Help promote Pickleball programs and events through internal communications and social media channels, enhancing visibility and participation.
• Maintain Court Conditions: Ensure that the Pickleball courts are well-prepared and properly maintained for events, lessons, and tournaments
• Leadership – Maintain a positive, upbeat role, promote and exemplify Company values and represents departmental objectives and interests to internal and external customers
• Customer Service – Follow up on complaints, questions, and concerns; respond to internal/external customer needs in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
