Tennis Manager
Club in Washington, DC is looking for a Tennis Manager.

Position Overview:
Key Duties:

Develop and implement tennis programs tailored to various ages and skill levels
Organize and manage tournaments, clinics, and special events to boost participation and community involvement
Oversee daily facility operations, including program scheduling and equipment maintenance
Provide high-quality coaching focused on skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork (approximately 50% of work time)
Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment with strong behavior management
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, especially when working with younger participants
Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and program updates

Qualifications:

Division 1 or Division 2 collegiate tennis playing experience
USTA rating of at least 4.5
Proven tennis coaching and instruction background
Prior experience managing tennis programs or teams preferred
Experience working with children and young adults in recreational or educational environments
Knowledge of behavior management techniques to engage participants effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
