Assistant Tennis Coach
University in Richardson, Texas is looking for an Assistant Tennis Coach.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Tennis Coach supports the Head Coach in developing and maintaining a competitive tennis program within the Lone Star Conference (LSC) and NCAA Division II.

This role works in close collaboration with the Head Coach to foster an environment within the UTD Department of Intercollegiate Athletics that reflects the mission of the University of Texas at Dallas. The program is operated in alignment with the mission, policies, bylaws, regulations, and interpretations of the UTD Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, the LSC, and NCAA Division II.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Supports the Head Coach in the administrative aspects of the intercollegiate tennis program, including scheduling, recruiting, team and equipment management, budgeting, and the coordination of UTD-identified athletic and sport camps.
• Successfully completes the NCAA Coach’s Certification Exam on an annual basis.
• Represents the department and university in a professional and ethical manner.
• Agrees to adhere to the Code of Ethics as outlined by the University of Texas at Dallas and the University of Texas System.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office software and the ability to learn and utilize institutional software systems.
• Complies with all applicable State and University policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
