Tennis Professional
Club in Huntington Beach, California is looking for a Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
This Tennis Professional position will specifically focus on teaching/coaching the Academy.

Job Tasks
• Helping create a high service and friendly atmosphere for all the club members
• Be educated on all operational facets of the club to better assist the membership
• Actively promote and market memberships for the club
• Assist in creating an instructional program for adults and junior and summer camp
• Assists with special tennis events
• Teaching private and group lessons for adults and juniors
• Be available to teach at least two Saturday’s every month
• Be available for at least one social event every month
• Records court reservations and lesson appointments
• Turn in required lesson reports on a timely manner
• Assist in running and managing club activities and tournaments
• Attends staff meetings
• Coach members in private and group tennis lessons
• Develop personalized structure for lessons aligned with member goals
• Promote tennis services within the club
• Completes other appropriate tasks assigned by the Tennis Director

Qualifications:
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
• Upbeat, positive attitude and passion for people
• Strong tennis knowledge and athletic ability
• Sensitivity to clients’ health and fitness needs and the ability to modify programing to meet a diverse range of fitness levels and abilities
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage time well
• Rating of 4.5 USTA or higher.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• 1 or more years of tennis coaching experience OR 5 or more years of personal competitive tennis experience preferred

Compensation
• Hourly Rate: $18.00 + 50/50 Lesson Split
