Racquets facility in Ashburn, Virginia is looking for a Pickleball Instructor and Program Manager.

Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion (AVSP) is a premier racquets facility offering a full range of tennis, pickleball, and recreational programming for players of all ages and skill levels. We are committed to providing a high-quality experience through professional instruction, innovative programming, and an inclusive, community-focused atmosphere.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pickleball Instructor & Program Manager to join our team. This role begins part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time position as our pickleball programs expand.
The ideal candidate will bring both instructional expertise and program management skills, capable of teaching players at all levels while also developing leagues, clinics, and events that drive engagement and growth.
Compensation:
This position is 100% commission-based, with earning potential between $40–$100 per hour depending on lesson type, program management responsibilities, and participation levels.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver professional private lessons, semi-privates, and group pickleball instruction for adults and juniors.
• Design, promote, and manage pickleball programming including clinics, leagues, socials, and tournaments.
• Oversee scheduling, registration, and program logistics.
• Build strong relationships with members and foster a welcoming, inclusive pickleball community.
• Collaborate with the Director of Racquets to expand and innovate program offerings.
• Represent the facility with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Qualifications:
• Pickleball certification required (USAPA, PPR, or equivalent).
• Strong playing background and proven ability to teach pickleball across multiple levels.
• Prior teaching and/or coaching experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership ability.
• Self-motivated with a passion for growing the game of pickleball.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
