Tennis Professional
Tennis facility in Suwanee, Georgia is looking for a Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
The ideal tennis professional is enthusiastic, organized, and passionate about growing racquet sports in the neighborhood setting. They enjoy teaching, working with players of all ages and skill levels, mentoring league players, and building a welcoming tennis culture for families and competitive players alike in a community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Instruction & Lessons
• Provide private and semi-private lessons for adults and juniors
• Conduct group clinics, drills, and skill-based programs for all levels
• Develop beginner through advanced lesson curricula
• Offer seasonal camps and specialty clinics as interest allows
• Program Development and League Play
• Designing, planning, and implementing engaging tennis and pickleball programs, camps, leagues (e.g., ALTA/USTA), and special events/tournaments for residents
• Promote tennis participation within the neighborhood
• Help grow junior and adult tennis programs
• Coordinate tennis events, mixers, and exhibitions
• Serve as a positive ambassador for the neighborhood tennis program
• Assist with team formation, player evaluations, and lineup guidance
• Conduct practices and match preparation sessions
• Provide on-court coaching, strategy, and player development for league participants
• Court Management
• Ensuring courts and equipment are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained, reporting any maintenance issues to the HOA or appropriate personnel.
• Assist with court scheduling and lesson coordination
• Follow neighborhood and facility policies
• Administrative Tasks
• Managing schedules and handling registration and fee collection
• Submitting reports to the property manager and HOA board
• Marketing
• Assisting in the promotion of tennis activities and facilities to attract new players and established players within the community
• Schedule & Compensation
• Flexible schedule except when key events are in progress
• Compensation model is base pay + lessons
• Opportunity to grow programs and income as participation increases
• Qualifications
• USPTA, PTR, or equivalent tennis certification preferred
• Playing or coaching experience at competitive levels (ALTA experience strongly preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to teach players of varying ages and skill levels
• Contractor Specific
• The contractor is responsible for selecting, hiring, and supervising any necessary assistants or staff at their own sole expense
• The contractor must provide proof of professional liability insurance
• The contractor is responsible for all their own business expenses, taxes (income, self-employment, etc.), and insurance costs
• The contractor determines the specific methods and means to achieve expected outcomes and service levels defined by HOA
