Advantage Tennis Clubs (HCK Recreation, Inc.) is one of New York City’s oldest and premier indoor tennis and racquet clubs. With three impressive locations and an extensive tennis teaching and summer camp network across the city, our days are focused on providing the best in the dynamic sport of tennis. With more than 50 years of history and a massive influence on the city’s tennis game, we serve players from the age of four to the age of ninety! It is our aim to be the best tennis experience providers in New York City and are consistently developing our team to achieve that goal. We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and proactive Adult & Junior Program Coordinator to join the Advantage Tennis Clubs Team.

Position Summary
The Adult & Junior Program Coordinator will support the administration of the adult and junior programs at Roosevelt Island Racquet Club. This role involves close collaboration with the Adult Program Director, Junior Program Director, and Assistant Junior Program Director.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Junior Programs Assistant Director with the sales, scheduling, and coordination of players and students in the junior programs and summer camps.
• Assist the Adult Program Director with scheduling, payroll, program supervision, and any other relevant program needs.
• Assist the coaches and program coordinators with the general delivery of the programs.
• Help develop and implement the junior tennis student transport program at Roosevelt Island Racquet Club, which includes providing supplementary transportation to the New York Tennis Club.
• Serve as Manager on Duty several times per week and act as liaison with the Member Services team for all programs.
• Provide on-court teaching and coaching up to 15 hours per week in both the Junior and Adult Programs.
• Communicate effectively with your team to ensure they understand your needs and can assist them in maximizing our business.
• Perform other responsibilities as reasonably required as part of your job function

Qualifications & Skills
• Previous experience in tennis instruction
• Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a proven capacity to draft professional, clear correspondence with parents along with good phone skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Tech-savvy, with prior experience in tennis court booking systems preferred
• Professionalism & discretion
• Previous experience in an administrative, executive support, or operational role is highly preferred.
