Pickleball Professional
Club in Middletown, Rhode Island is looking for a Pickleball Professional.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and certified Pickleball Professional to join our growing racquets community. This position is ideal for someone who loves teaching the game, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere, and building strong relationships with players of all skill levels.
This is a commission-based position with opportunities to grow private lessons, clinics, leagues, and social programming.
Responsibilities
Teach private and group pickleball lessons for beginner through advanced players
Lead clinics, drill sessions, and instructional programs
Organize and run leagues, tournaments, and social events
Create a positive, high-energy environment on and off the court
Help grow participation and player engagement within the club community
Provide excellent customer service and player communication
Assist with scheduling, program promotion, and player development initiatives
Foster an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests
Qualifications
Current pickleball teaching certification required
Strong knowledge of pickleball strategy, mechanics, and player development
Outgoing, professional, and enthusiastic personality
Ability to work independently and motivate players
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Experience teaching players of varying ages and skill levels preferred
Tournament and competitive playing experience is a plus
Compensation
Commission-based pay structure
