Tennis Professional
Club in Shreveport, Louisiana is looking for a full-time Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club is looking for a Teaching Professional who will work with our Director of Tennis. Pierremont Oaks has 19 tennis courts: 12 clay, 7 hard, and 6 pickleball courts, all lighted, a large membership (650 families), and high enthusiasm for tennis and pickleball. One area of focus will be our Junior program ROGY. We currently have approximately 150 players in our Junior Development program.
Pierremont Oaks is owned by East Ridge Country Club and is located in southeast Shreveport, LA. East Ridge has 8 courts (4 clay, 4 hard, 3 Pickleball, all lighted) giving us 36 courts total in our tennis ecosystem. Current Staff between both clubs include 7 Teaching Pros, USTA State Past President and Current RSPA LA Chapter President. Pierremont Oaks works closely with governing bodies of our sport to help support and grow our industry. Pierremont Oaks helps Pros gain knowledge and experience to help individuals grow as professionals.

Job responsibilities
Teaching privates, group lessons and junior programming
Assisting with mixers and tournaments as needed
Promote the game of tennis, the clubs programming and support in Pro Shop Sales
Ability to run large groups of Red, Orange, Green and Yellow ball clinics

Job Requirements
3+ years Teaching experience
Ability to manage own schedule
Punctual, responsible and respectful towards membership and their guests
4.5+ playing ability
RSPA (USPTA) or PTR certified or willingness to get certified
Pickleball Certified not requirement but want candidate to be open to taking certification

Compensation
Lesson and clinic rates range between $70 and $96 per hour, $100 and $144 per 1.5 hours. The Pros keep 92% of all lessons taught. Junior Development pays between $40-$65 per hour, depending on experience.
