Pickleball Director
Club in Newington, Connecticut is looking for a Pickleball Director.

Position Overview:
The club is seeking an energetic, experienced Pickleball Director to lead programming, teaching professionals, front desk operations, events, and customer experience. This role will be instrumental in growing Blaze Pickle into a premier, year-round pickleball destination.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, launch, and manage a profitable pickleball programming schedule, including clinics, camps, leagues, open play, private lessons, tournaments, and special events.
• Lead, schedule, train, and support the professional teaching staff.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise front desk staff to ensure excellent customer service and smooth daily operations.
• Teach group and private lessons, leagues, tournaments, and major events.
• Work with ownership and management on programming strategy, revenue growth, marketing, and community outreach.
• Help recruit and onboard professional staff and hold team members accountable to service standards.
• Coordinate with customer service and front-desk teams to ensure accurate registration, attendance, payments, and program tracking.
• Manage court usage and scheduling for programming and events.
• Develop and maintain a high level of customer service and facility standards.
• Assist with facility/court development and provide input on retail offerings.
• Promote Blaze Pickle and its programs through professional and local community networks, subject to company marketing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pickleball professional, instructor, program director, or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of pickleball programming, instruction, tournaments, and events.
• Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and customer-service skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on revenue growth and member engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with ownership, management, staff, and customers.

Compensation

• Monthly retainer
• Additional compensation for group and private instruction
• Performance-based profit sharing on eligible programming and retail
• Tournament and sponsorship incentives
