Tennis Professional
Club in Lexington, Kentucky is looking for a full-time Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
The Club is a premier tennis facility with 15 indoor courts and 7 outdoor courts, offering a wide variety of programming for juniors, adults, competitive players, and recreational players. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a growing team and help take our tennis program to the next level.

This position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about tennis, enjoys working with people, and is motivated to grow both personally and professionally.

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day operation and continued growth of the Tennis Club tennis program. This person will be expected to build relationships with members, create an exceptional player experience, teach high-quality tennis, and actively contribute ideas that grow participation and revenue.

We are looking for someone who doesn’t simply want to teach lessons, but wants to build something.

Key Responsibilities
Teach private lessons, group lessons, clinics, and tennis programs for players of varying ages and abilities.
Help develop and grow junior and adult programming.
Build strong relationships with members, players, and families.
Recruit new players and help convert new members into active tennis participants.
Assist with camps, tournaments, leagues, socials, and special events.
Help create a fun, welcoming, and competitive tennis environment.
Participate in member outreach, follow-up, and program promotion.
Work closely with the Director of Tennis and other professionals to develop new programming and improve existing programs.
Contribute ideas to increase participation, retention, and overall tennis revenue.
Maintain a professional and positive presence throughout the facility.
Assist with court scheduling, program organization, and other operational responsibilities as needed.
Represent The Health Clubs and Tennis Club in a professional manner.

Qualifications
Strong playing and teaching background.
Previous tennis coaching experience preferred.
Experience working with juniors and/or adults.
USPTA, PTR, or equivalent certification preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
