Head Racquets Professional
Country Club in High Point, NC is looking for a full-time Head Racquets Professional.

Position Overview:
• Reports directly to the Director of Racquets.
• Provide high-quality private, semi-private, and group instruction for players of all ages and ability levels.
• Teach adult tennis and pickleball clinics, team practices, Cardio Tennis, junior programming, camps, and other instructional offerings.
• Assist the Director of Racquet Sports with the development, implementation, and evaluation of adult and junior programming.
• Works with court maintenance staff to ensure Emerywood Clay Courts and Hard Courts are maintained in excellent playing condition.
• Inspect and maintain in good condition all physical areas of the Emerywood Tennis/Pickleball facility.
• Work schedule will be flexible, approximately 45 hours per week, and generally will allow for two days off per week. The Dir. of Racquets will set work schedules.
• Manages EW tennis/pickleball merchandise and inventory for the Club as approved by the Dir. of Racquets.
• Promotes tennis and pickleball activities to the membership with the goal to grow both sports on the Emerywood and Willow Creek campus.
• Ensure all Club members and guests receive courteous, prompt and professional attention to all their tennis and pickleball needs.
• Organize and administer official tournaments, exhibitions and inter and intra-Club tennis/pickleball social events.
• Take a lead on Pickleball league scheduling and pickleball events.
• Complete stringing requests and equipment services within established turnaround times.
• Work closely with the Club’s F&B staff when planning/utilizing F&B for tennis/pickleball events.
• Administer and enforce the Club’s tennis/pickleball policies, member and guest access, collection of guest fees and general Club rules and regulations.

Compensation : Base Salary. 80% of private lessons. Club will pay dues for continuing education. Will receive all benefits that are generally available to other Club employees as described in the Club’s Employee Manual.
