Position Overview
Sunrise Sports Group is seeking 2–3 qualified, enthusiastic, and professional Tennis Coaches to join our growing tennis program in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about tennis, committed to player development, and capable of delivering high-quality instruction to players of all ages and skill levels. Women are encouraged to apply.

Our programs serve children, juniors, adults, recreational players, and international visitors. Successful candidates must demonstrate strong technical tennis knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach to coaching.

Qualifications and Requirements
Tennis Experience: Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, techniques, strategy, and player development. Previous competitive playing experience at the national level or coaching experience with competitive players is preferred. Professional tour experience is not required.

Coaching Ability: Experience teaching children, juniors, and adults at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Group Management: Ability to effectively manage individual lessons and group sessions involving 4–15 participants across 1–4 tennis courts.

Language Skills: Good spoken English is required to communicate effectively with international guests and clients. Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.

Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage professionally with players, parents, hotel guests, and resort partners.

Professionalism: Strong work ethic, punctuality, reliability, positive attitude, and commitment to maintaining high coaching standards.

Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with fellow coaches, management, and other Sunrise Sports Group team members.

Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and accommodate varying client expectations and skill levels.

Tournament Support: Willingness and ability to prepare competitive junior players for local and national tournaments, accompany students when required, and provide coaching support during competitions.

Scheduling Flexibility: Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak tourism periods, as required.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver professional private, semi-private, and group tennis lessons.

Develop structured training sessions appropriate for each participant’s skill level and objectives.

Conduct junior development programs, recreational clinics, and adult tennis instruction.

Provide an exceptional guest experience consistent with Sunrise Sports Group’s service standards.

Assist with tennis camps, clinics, tournaments, and special events.

Maintain safe, organized, and professional training environments.

Support player retention, program growth, and positive client relationships.

Represent Sunrise Sports Group professionally at partner resorts, tennis facilities, and sporting events.
