Assistant Tennis Professional
Club in Savannah, Georgia is looking for a full-time Assistant Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
The Savannah Golf Club is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and dependable Assistant Tennis Professional to join our Court Sports team. This full-time, hourly position offers competitive commission opportunities, 20 guaranteed on-court hours per week, and the opportunity to teach additional hours if desired. The Assistant Tennis Professional will work alongside the Head Tennis Professional to provide high-quality instruction, support member programming, and deliver an exceptional experience for members and guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide private lessons, group lessons, clinics, and other tennis instruction.

· Assist with tennis events, mixers, junior programs, and member activities.

· Support daily court operations and provide excellent service to members and guests.

· Maintain a welcoming, professional, and positive atmosphere throughout the Court Sports department.

· Assist with court maintenance, facility upkeep, and general Court Sports duties when not on court.

· Help maintain tennis equipment, supplies, and the overall appearance of the tennis facilities.

· Work collaboratively with the Court Sports team to support the daily needs of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Current USPTA or PTR certification required.

· Strong tennis playing and teaching abilities.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

· Reliable, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

· Professional attitude and a genuine interest in creating a positive member experience.

· Willingness to assist with maintenance and general Court Sports duties when not teaching.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

· Full-time, hourly position with competitive commission on lessons and applicable instructional services.

· 20 guaranteed on-court hours per week, with opportunities for additional teaching hours.

SCHEDULE & EXPECTATIONS

Tuesday–Saturday schedule, with some holiday work required. When not on court, the Assistant Tennis Professional is expected to assist with court maintenance, facility upkeep, and general Court Sports operations.
