New Ownership and Website Updates

24 March 2011

After nearly 10 years in business, Protennisjobs.com, formerly Snooz Tennis, has recently undergone a change in ownership. The transfer has been successfully completed and the new owner, Ty Shields is happy to make his introduction.

The transfer was seamless, the site was only down for an hour, and all databases were transferred successfully. The main change that members should be aware of is just the currency for paid member subscriptions has been changed from you Euros to US dollars. In doing so paid membership prices have been slightly lowered. Also currently payment processing is limited to paypal but new payment
processing options will be added in the near future.

We have a lot of plans for the future but our main goal is to continue to grow and simply provide our users with hands down the best place online to find and post tennis jobs & tennis classifieds.

You should be noticing many more job postings than in the past. Not only do we plan to keep growing the job postings on the site we also plan to promote and populate the classifieds section of the site more to make this element of the site more useful for our users. We have already added a few new categories to the site: Tennis Jobs College, Director Tennis Jobs, Hitting Partners & Prize Money Tournaments.

Meet the new owner:

Not new to the tennis community by any means Ty has been involved in the sport of tennis for nearly 20 years, with a family full of tennis players and coaches.

Ty has been a website developer and internet marketer for the last 8 years and when the prospect of taking over a tennis related website opened up he was very happy to take on the project. He will be handling most of the frontend and backend aspects of the site including customer support, administration, editing, approvals, design and other technical aspects of the site. He can be emailed personally at ty@protennisjobs.com.

Please feel free to shoot Ty an email if you have any suggestions, feedback or questions regarding the changes or website in general.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to continuing to provide our users with a valuable service and a pleasant time on our site for many years to come.
