Club in Columbus, Ohio is looking for a Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teaching Tennis Professional to join our team. As a Teaching Tennis Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tennis instruction to individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels. You will work closely with our members and clients to improve their tennis skills, foster their love for the sport, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Conduct private lessons, semi-private lessons, and group clinics tailored to the needs and goals of each student.
Develop lesson plans and instructional programs to enhance technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall performance.
Evaluate students’ abilities and progress, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Organize and oversee tennis camps, tournaments, and special events.
Assist with maintaining tennis facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all players.
Promote tennis programs, recruit new players, and retain existing clients through excellent service and engagement.
Stay updated on tennis industry trends, teaching methodologies, and certifications to enhance professional development.
Collaborate with other tennis professionals and staff members to deliver a cohesive and comprehensive tennis program.

Requirements:

Certified Tennis Teaching Professional (e.g., USPTA or PTR certification preferred).
Proven experience teaching tennis lessons to diverse groups of students.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Passion for tennis and a commitment to promoting the sport’s values and benefits.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on client demand.
Physical stamina and agility to demonstrate techniques and participate in on-court activities.
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or related field is a plus.
