Tennis Professional
Club in Mountain Home, Arkansas is looking for a full-time Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a full-time Tennis Professional for our robust tennis program at the Legacy Racquet and Fitness Club located in Mountain Home, AR. Legacy is a newly remodeled tennis, pickleball and fitness club with hundreds of members. The club offers three brand new indoor tennis courts in addition to four newly resurfaced outdoor tennis courts. There are also three brand new outdoor and four indoor pickleball courts, as well as a remodeled clubhouse and a fitness facility.

The ideal candidate will have great passion and professionalism for teaching and improving players of all ages and abilities. We are looking for experience in teaching Ladies & Men’s tennis teams, Junior academy players and help with social events. The professional should have a 4.5 or above USTA Player Rating and/or D1 College Level or Pro Level tennis playing experience. ITF, USPTA, and/or PTR professional certification is preferred.

Our full-time Tennis Professionals receive an 80/20 split commission as well as opportunities to receive a stipend for extra duties and responsibilities like: creating leagues, running tournaments, traveling to tournaments with players, etc. To ensure the candidate will have an income immediately upon accepting the position, the Tennis Professional will be paid a minimum of $2,000/per month for the first 3 months. Anything over $2,000 made within those months will then be split 80/20 for the individual. Relocation fee is negotiable and affordable housing will be offered, if necessary.

Compensation is based on lesson income, administrative duties, court maintenance and helping with events. This professional can expect to teach 30-40 hours per week. As a result, the successful professional can expect to earn in the 50-70K range.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience
• Minimum 4.5 NTRP rating or former college/professional tennis player
• 30-40 hours per week
• Passionate about teaching and the game of tennis
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
• ITF/USPTA/PTR Certification
• Referee certification
• Pickleball teaching certification
