Tennis Instructor
Tennis facility in Homewood, Illinois is looking for a Tennis Instructor.

Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Racquet Sports Supervisor provides tennis instruction to participants. The H-F Park District’s mission statement is “to enhance the quality of life through diverse recreational opportunities, facilities and parks while caring for the environment”.

Essential Job Responsibilities: – Provide outstanding customer service to our internal and external guests by providing friendly, responsive, courteous and helpful service. – Report directly to the Racquet Sports Supervisor. – Keep accurate records on all classes. – Responsible for all supplies issued by the Park District. – Conduct a safe and educational program. – Develop a lesson plan for the programs. – Keep Racquet Sports Supervisor informed of progress of students. – Be cooperative and develop a good relationship with the public. – Solicit comments, suggestions and recommendations from the students and relay them accordingly. – Attend educational seminars to upgrade teaching knowledge and skill. – Assist in promoting all Park District programs. – Enforce all rules and regulations within the club as set forth by the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District board in a tactful manner. – Adhere to the policies and procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual, Policy and Procedures Handbook and Employee Manual. – Other related job duties as assigned.
