Head Racquets Professional
Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania is looking for a Head Racquets Professional.

Position Overview:
Aronimink Golf Club seeks a year-round Head Racquets Professional who will play a dynamic role in shaping a vibrant and inclusive racquets community. Working closely with the Director of Racquet Sports (DoRS), this position involves leading engaging adult and junior lessons, events, clinics, and team practices across tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, and padel throughout the year. As a key team player, you’ll collaborate with the DoRS, Assistant Director of Racquet Sports, and Racquets Center Office Manager to ensure seamless communication, efficient organization, and a high standard of service across all programs. Your goal will be to deliver an exceptional experience for members and guests while driving program success and boosting revenues through outstanding service and member engagement.

Aronimink Golf Club is consistently recognized as one of the top clubs in the world. It is currently ranked as the #8 Platinum Golf Club in America and the #28 Platinum Golf & Country Club in the world. Our racquets facility includes:

• Five outdoor har-tru tennis courts (2 lighted for evening play).
• Two outdoor hard tennis courts with blended pickleball lines.
• Two indoor hard tennis courts with blended pickleball lines.
• Five platform tennis courts.
• Four outdoor pickleball courts. (Set to open November 2024)
• Three outdoor padel courts. (Set to open November 2024)

The Head Racquets Professional will receive a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, on-court commissions for lessons and programs, paid professional dues, continuing education opportunities, and a clothing allowance. Additionally, a comprehensive benefits package is provided, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and more. Health insurance becomes available on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities:

• Design & Expand Year-Round Programs: Take ownership of our Pickleball and Adult Tennis programs, managing their operations within budget while always striving for excellence.
• Lead Engaging Lessons: Deliver high-energy, fun, and inclusive lessons for adults and juniors across all skill levels in both group and private settings for tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, and padel.
• Collaborate on Events: Support the DoRS in organizing and promoting events, clinics, round robins, and team practices for tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, and padel.
• Be an Ambassador: Represent Aronimink at regional tournaments, helping to elevate our presence in the tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, and padel communities.
• Pro Shop Assistance: Assist with Pro Shop operations, enhancing the overall experience for Members and Guests. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organization of the shop, stocking merchandise, providing product knowledge, assisting with sales transactions, and ensuring that the Pro Shop is well-presented and fully stocked at all times.
• Create a Positive Member Experience: Work hand-in-hand with our DoRS to deliver stellar service, proactively address Member needs, and ensure they feel valued.
• Foster Team Motivation & Ownership: Champion clear communication and a culture of teamwork where every team member feels empowered and driven to succeed.

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching racquet sports to players of all ages and skill levels.
• Strong collegiate playing background.
• Personable, with the ability to quickly build rapport with members.
• Passionate about tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, and padel.
• USPTA, PTR, PPTA, or PPR teaching certification preferred.
