Club in Gulfport, Mississippi is looking for a full-time Head Tennis Professional.

Position Overview:
The Opportunity
Bayou Bluff Tennis Club is seeking an energetic full-time Head Tennis Professional to fulfill the needs of a very active tennis membership.

The Club
Bayou Bluff Tennis Club is situated in Gulfport, MS. With over 650 family memberships, Bayou Bluff members are active and always looking to participate in programming, lessons, and league play.

The facility houses 10 outdoor hard tennis courts, and 3 Har-Tru clay courts, all lit for night play.

Other member facilities include a Restaurant, Bar, Swimming Pool, Pro Shop, and Locker Rooms.

Position Overview:
The Head Tennis Professional will work with and report to the Director of Tennis. The main emphasis of the position is to help develop and implement a successful junior program including 10 and under programs and a pathway for juniors to play collegiate tennis.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the growth and development of all Junior Programs
• Work in cooperation with DOT to create all schedules and outlines for Red, Orange, Green, and Yellow Ball Programs
• Work in cooperation with DOT on all marketing material for Junior Programming.
• Plan, organize, and implement high-energy, high-quality lessons and clinics.
• Organize and maintain all program records, including attendance sheets and rosters.
• Promptly return all emails and phone calls about programming.
• Maintain a clean and risk-free environment.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
• Communicate positively and accurately with all participants.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• USPTA or PTR certification preferred.
• Possess an NTPR rating of 4.5 or above with collegiate experience preferred.
