Club in Dripping Springs, Texas is looking for a Tennis Professional.

As our Tennis Professional for Adults, you’ll be the driving force behind a tennis revolution, shaping a vibrant community where passion meets play. How You Will Make an Impact (Essential Functions) • Develop and implement comprehensive tennis programs tailored for adults of varying skill levels. • Provide individual and group lessons, clinics, and workshops focusing on skill improvement, strategy, and match play. • Conduct player assessments to understand individual needs and create personalized development plans. • Provide constructive feedback to players on their technique, strategy, and overall game. • Effectively communicate with adult players to understand their goals, address concerns, and foster a positive learning environment. • Keep participants informed about program schedules, events, and any changes. • Coordinate and organize adult tennis events, tournaments, and social activities to enhance the overall tennis experience. • Collaborate with other tennis professionals to create a vibrant and engaging tennis community. • Stay current with industry trends, coaching methodologies, and tennis equipment. • Continuously develop personal skills and certifications to ensure the highest quality instruction. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all participants. • Complete other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Community Enterprise
• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• USPTA or PTR certification preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Proven experience coaching adults at various skill levels. Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective teaching methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to motivate and inspire adult players.
• Adaptability to different playing styles and skill levels.
• You demonstrate the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. 
• You quickly learn from failure and value feedback to continuously improve. 
• You are a team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude, and you can work well with others. 
• You listen for understanding and meaning.
• You speak and write effectively. 
• You build good customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions. 
• You foster a culture of inclusion and belonging, leveraging people’s differences as strengths and promoting a welcoming environment for all.
