Tennis Club Manager
Club in Albany, Oregon is looking for a Tennis Club Manager.

Position Overview:
Responsibilities – Provide high-quality private and group tennis lessons for players of all ages and abilities. – Organize and lead tennis clinics, camps, and special events. – Develop lesson plans and customized training programs to help students improve their skills and achieve their goals. – Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere on the courts for all members and guests. – Assist in promoting club tournaments, events, and tennis programs to encourage member participation. – Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Albany Tennis Club, including scheduling, staff management, and program development. – Manage employees and staff, ensuring optimal team performance and club efficiency. – Oversee the operations of the summer pool program to provide an enjoyable and safe experience for members. – Oversee facilities maintenance to ensure a well-maintained, safe, and welcoming club environment. – Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all players during lessons, clinics, and events. – Develop and implement a successful junior program, including 10-and-under programs and a pathway for juniors to play collegiate tennis. – Develop and carry out a membership recruitment plan with the ability to reach defined membership goals.

Qualifications – Certification: USPTA or PTR Certification (required). – Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a tennis pro or instructor. – Skills: Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, strategies, and player development. – Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication and leadership skills. – Flexibility: Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays. – Management Experience: Prior experience or interest in facility management is a plus.

Preferred Skills – Experience coaching competitive tennis players. – Proven experience in organizing and managing tennis programs or tournaments. – Leadership or management experience in a club or sports facility. – Knowledge of tennis equipment maintenance and racquet stringing.
