Racquets Professional
Club in Ridgefield, Connecticut is looking for a Racquets Professional.

Position Overview:
The Racquets Professional reports directly to the Director of Racquets and plays a pivotal role in developing and expanding tennis, pickleball, and platform tennis programs. This position requires an organized, personable professional with strong skills in teaching, management, communication, and program implementation within the private club environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in competitive tennis and platform tennis, with experience both playing and coaching. Additionally, the candidate should be willing to actively compete on the APTA tournament circuit during the winter season.

Core Activities:
• Assist with planning and leading various team practices
• Attend ladies matches
• Teach men’s clinics on weeknights and/or weekends
• Provide private and group lessons to ladies, men and juniors
• Assist with the Junior program on a weekly basis
• Provide feedback to continuously improve the ladies’ team program
• Work closely with Director of Racquets to evaluate and improve all aspects of the program
• Has strong communication skills and is a team player

Reports to: Director of Racquets

Compensation and Benefits:
The club offers an attractive and competitive compensation package based on the candidate’s experience, including:
• An annual base salary
• An hourly lesson rate for all on-court instruction
Qualifications:
• American Platform Tennis Association (APTA) certified.
• USTA Tennis certified.
